Innovative interiors solutions create active learning hubs at the University of Windsor and St. Clair College
Windsor, October 19, 2018 – POI Business Interiors, a premium award-winning solutions provider of products and services that create connected workplace environments, officially announced its new showroom opening, designed to support business growth that is increasingly making Windsor one of the most desirable locations for organizations to set-up operations.
The new showroom, located in the former National Bank building at 1599 Ottawa Street, showcases their ability to create performance-boosting environments with a focus on shared and collaborative spaces to enhance both creativity and productivity. There is also an area dedicated to Learning Environments located in the space that was the former bank’s vault.
POI has notably helped transform the School of Creative Arts (SoCA) buildings at the University of Windsor into a hub of learning excellence with active classroom, lounge setting and specialty furniture solutions. “The University chose to partner with POI because of the in-depth knowledge and execution capabilities of their team,” says Anna Maria Kirby, Acting Vice President, Planning & Administration, University of Windsor.
Rebecca Demchuk, St. Clair College’s Associate Vice President of Safety, Security and Facilities Management, says, “POI have been great partners and instrumental in doing all the space planning and product provision both at our new downtown St. Clair College Zekelmen School of Business and for our 2018 classroom and student lounge renovations at the Main Campus.
